For the past 12 years, Antony has been a committed mentor and coach for women in ICT leadership and has also done a lot of work supporting graduates. It’s no surprise then that when Antony heard about Rare Birds, he was very keen to join us as a mentor and he has recently also decided to take on the role as our Ambassador for the Gold Coast region in Queensland.

Antony moved to Queensland in June 2022 to take up a new role as CIO for the City of Gold Coast. He previously held several high level strategy roles in Canberra, including: Executive Group Manager at Digital, Data and Technology Solutions, ACT Government; Chief Information Officer at Department of Parliamentary Services; Chief Information Officer at Geoscience Australia and Executive Manager, eResearch at CSIRO.

Antony is also an experienced non-executive board member.
