Fleur Madden, CEO at Freelancing Gems

Fleur is an award winning business woman, experienced CEO/Founder, recognised industry expert and women in business speaker with 18 years experience running her own businesses. Fleur started her first company The Red Republic at 23 that she sold 14 years later to a multinational. Along her journey, she has acquired other businesses, founded an online beauty company Lulu and Lipstick that she sold in 2016, where just prior her makeup brushes were in the gift bags for the 2016 Oscars. Today Fleur is the CEO and cofounder of women’s jobs platform Freelancing Gems, Australias first jobs site that champions women who freelance, consult, side hustle or work part time to find their next meaningful role. They are on a mission to close the gender pay gap for women in the gig economy.

Emma Rhoades, Founder at Her Leadership Journey

Passionate about creating authentic and courageous leaders, Emma is an award-winning entrepreneur. Emma’s ability to help women in the workplace to transform from invisible and unheard, into an influential and inspirational leader has resulted in many women stepping into their true, authentic leadership and moving up their career ladder. She brings a unique combination of formal study and her own less than desirable experiences in the workplace to inspire leaders to own their ambitions, to increase their visibility and leave a lasting impact on those they serve. Emma will push you to believe in yourself like you’ve never done before.

Nina Nguyen, Founder & CEO at Pakko

Nina is creating a legacy as a culturally inclusive and thoughtful leader within the Australian manufacturing industry. She is a passionate advocate for equality, humanity and teamwork; and is focused on inspiring others with her story. Nina has overcome the challenges associated with the manufacturing industry, and she is conscious of the need for awareness, inclusiveness and acceptance. Nina is an avid supporter of migrants and people from culturally diverse and non-english speaking backgrounds – a woman who has experienced the refugee journey and she is committed to helping everyone on her team reach their potential.

Karen Cohen, Founder at Emerging Tech Talent

Karen Cohen is the Founder and Director of Emerging Tech Talent, a company that helps humans connect to Emerging Technology. She also founded Women in Emerging Tech and is the Program Manager for AlgoHub a virtual blockchain developer hub. In 2021, Karen won the Lift Off Awards for Diversity and Inclusion as a Tech Leader. She is a Rare Birds Ambassador and ran the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women mentoring program with Inspiring Rare Birds in 2020.
